Delta Solutions and Strategies, LLC Acquires Elite Cybersecuity Certification
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. — Delta Solutions & Strategies (Delta), a part of the Bowhead Family of Companies, has acquired its Cybersecurity Maturity Model (CMMC) Level 2 certification, a cybersecurity framework developed by the Department of Defense (DoD) to ensure contractors meet specific security standards when handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
CMMC Level 2 certification is required for most DoD contractors who store, process, or transmit CUI. It is based on the full implementation of the 110 controls defined in NIST SP 800-171 and requires a formal assessment by an authorized Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization.
Achieving CMMC Level 2 certification proves that an organization has implemented strong technical and administrative safeguards to protect sensitive government information, meets DoD cybersecurity expectations for contracts involving CUI and is qualified to vie for and execute contracts that have CMMC Level 2 requirements.
“Achieving CMMC Level 2 certification status is a significant milestone for Delta, expanding our ability to compete,” states Mark Stafford, CEO, Delta Solutions & Strategies. “Our successful assessment demonstrates cybersecurity sophistication, readying Delta to support national defense objectives securely and compliantly.”
Delta, a Colorado Springs-based service-disabled veteran-owned defense support services firm, has more than 400 employees and over 180 subcontractors currently supporting 46 federal contracts.
